Previous Incidents

[Resolved] Vultr Provisioning Functionality Degraded

Began: Ended: Duration:
  • Vultr API

Vultr server builds via API are down for multiple users. You can still build via Custom Servers and there does not appear to be any sites down on existing servers. Only new Vultr provisioning is impacted. We should have this resolved within one business day, assuming this is not an issue on Vultr's end.

It's looking like a problem with Vultr's API at this time, and not on our end.

Vultr has resolved the incident yesterday.

Our team has been made aware of an issue with Digital Ocean. They are investigating the issue with DNS resolution. At this time, if you perform actions on sites, they may be unable to properly resolve DNS and call back to the platform. This may result in actions that fail to complete in the UI.

Digital Ocean has fixed the core issue, and are waiting for things to recover.

They've resolved the incident. Thanks for your patience.

[Complete] Zendesk is performing maintenance on our Live Chat

Began: Ended: Duration:
  • GridPane Zendesk

Zendesk will be performing maintenance, and so our Live Chat may be offline for a brief period of time at 3AM EST. From our understanding it will only potentially affect Live Chat. If any critical issues come up, and if Live Chat is not working, please send us a DM to our Facebook page. Sorry for the inconvenience on this!

The scheduled maintenance is now underway. We'll keep you updated on our progress.

The maintenance is now complete. Thanks for your patience.

[Resolved] Vendor Issue Investigating

Began: Ended: Duration:
  • CloudFlare

Our team has been made aware of an issue with CloudFlare. They are investigating the issue with DNS updates taking up to an hour. Their status page is located here: https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/

At this time, this will impact our DNS API SSL provisioning. Additionally, this will can affect webroot as well as regular DNS changes too.

The DNS Updates issue is resolved, but now CloudFlare is having API issues which is something we rely on as well.

CloudFlare has resolved the incident, cheers!

[Resolved] Issue Identified in Application

Began: Ended: Duration:
  • GridPane Dashboard

We apologize for the inconvenience, we've identified an issue in the application, and are putting the application into maintenance mode. Your servers and sites will remain up and fully functional. This is maintenance of the application side only and will not impact any of your systems.

The application is back online, and more information is coming shortly.

Apologies for the brief maintenance window, post merge I was running through some verifications and came across what I thought was a data anomaly. Wanted to protect all data in-case there was an issue.

Turns out there wasn't.

But hey, it was an excellent fire drill for the team, which is of course exactly what I intended, cough cough.

Sorry for any bother.
